Extra Curricular
A wide range of activities are offered to pupils at the Stonehill High School. We believe that having the chance to visit a place of interest for a day or to go on a residential trip for a week is a really valuable experience and we encourage as many pupils as possible to participate.
Our day trips have included visits to Kenilworth Castle, London and Cadbury's World in Birmingham.
We run residential trips to Paris/Poitier, Strasbourg, skiing in Italy and the Aberglaslyn Outward Bounds Centre in Wales.
In addition, a large number of sporting and musical activities are offered. Our sports teams have a lot of success in the County. We have a highly successful wind band supported by Leicestershire Arts in Education. This enables pupils who have no experience with a musical instrument to learn from scratch under expert tuition.
